TEARS Success with GlobalGiving Project

TEARS Animal Rescue is working as a part of the GlobalGiving community to help alleviate misery for animals in Cape Town. Thanks to the donations and efforts of many of our supporters, we are proud to now be a vetted non-profit. By being vetted by GlobalGiving, we hope to be able to reach much larger sponsors. Hopefully, this will mean more international support and awareness towards the plight of companion animals in Cape Town’s low-income communities.

Our project is involves a critical sterilization project in Vrygond, where dogs and cats face horrific neglect and misery. We work with other NGOs in the area to help lift these animals out of illness and homelessness so that they can access primary veterinary care.
