JOB DESCRIPTION: DRIVER AND COLLECTIONS COORDINATOR

This includes:
• driving, sometimes long distances, to collect and load donations and supplies
• customer relationship management and service
• coordination and scheduling of donation collection
• reporting and general admin

Skills and knowledge required:
• Code 8 (EB) driver’s licence
• Good health to manage physically demanding job
• Excellent customer service
• Attention to detail and excellent time management
• The ability to be part of a team while working alone
• Using initiative and working efficiently
• Project a professional image with the ultimate goal of promoting TEARS to the public
• Smartphone compatible with Trello
• Go-getter and positive attitude
• Good organisational skills

Bonus skills:
• Additional language skills: Afrikaans, isiXhosa

Start date: Immediate

• Promote TEARS Animal Rescue in a proactive and positive manner.
• Management of daily shop operations: staff, logistics and financial
• High quality customer service and relationship management
• HR and Financial Reporting and General Admin
• Stock sorting, pricing and merchandising
• Coordination and general scheduling of staff

Skills and knowledge required:
• Excellent communication in English
• The ability to use a Point of Sale (Vend on iPad) and card machine (Yoco)
• Retail management experience
• Good health to manage demanding job
• Excellent customer service

• Sale of sorted stock via Point of Sale
