Remembering Lin Pearce

GRATEFUL THANKS TO THE PEARCE FAMILY FOR REMEMBERING THE ANIMALS IN OUR CARE, AT THE CELEBRATION OF LIN PEARCE’S LIFE

The gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Lin Pearce was a special occasion, and although tears were shed, it was a happy time, with those present sharing memories of times spent with Lin and her family.

TEARS Animal Rescue remembers Lin with great fondness, for her love of animals and her dedication to our cause. Lin was a core volunteer for many years, helping out as a receptionist in our office, performing other duties, and then assisting at Wenga Farm, spending time with our cats and kittens, and helping to clean.

What a special gesture by the Pearce family then, to request that those who were attending the celebration of Lin’s life, bring a donation of food for the animals in the care of TEARS. The generosity of family and friends was amazing, and two big shopping trolleys were filled to overflowing with all kinds of food; monetary donations were also received. Lin would have been so overwhelmed by the kindness; we certainly were!

To the family and friends of Lin, we extend our sincere condolences on the loss of a wonderful mother and friend. We express our heartfelt thank you for your generosity and thoughtfulness; the huge donation of food will fill many tummies at TEARS’ Shelters, as well as provide food for many needy animals in the communities we serve.

Rest in Peace, dear Lin.
