Description
If your idea of a perfect Saturday night involves cozying up with a blanket and some furry friends, then you’re in for a treat. It’s time to mark your calendars for the 10th annual TEARS Sleepathon – dust off your sleeping bag, grab your camping gear and spend a magical night at our shelter, snuggled up in an enclosure with our rescued dogs or cats.
Spend the night at the TEARS Shelter and fundraise for a cause that you love while aiming high for some great prizes! Choose between sleeping at the TEARS cattery with our lovely kitties or at the TEARS kennels with our spunky dogs!
Your R250 ticket secures your place at this year’s Sleepathon, but your mission doesn’t stop there. Your goal leading up to the TEARS Sleepathon is to raise additional donations for a cause close to your heart. Your fundraising efforts will make a significant impact in helping animals in need. The more you raise, the more animals you’ll support!
These are our causes you can select from:
1. Rescue, Rehab, Rehome:
Second chances is what TEARS is all about. Help rescued animals flourish during their stay at the TEARS shelter until they get adopted.
2. Spay and Neuter:
Help create a world of no more homeless pets by providing free sterilisations for pets in low-income communities.
3. Mobile and Welfare Vet Clinic:
Offer underprivileged pets access to vital veterinary care, primary health services and emergency operations.
