Judging and prize giving: 12h00 (Best Dressed owner and Dog and Just Nuisance ‘look alike’)

The annual Just Nuisance Day has long been an institution on the Simon’s Town social calendar.

This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with sponsors coming on board to celebrate the legendary Great Dane’s birthday. This annual event is named after Just Nuisance, the giant Great Dane with a larger-than-life personality and the first dog ever to be officially enrolled in the Royal Navy. This year’s event will commemorate Just Nuisance’s extraordinary spirit by featuring the annual dog walk along the streets of Simon’s Town, along with a host of exciting new family activities.

Various competitions and a lucky draw will take place.

The involvement of The Cape of Good Hope SPCA , Simon’s Town Museum and TEARS as beneficiaries is perhaps the most inspiring element of this year’s Just Nuisance Day.
