Fostering Saves Lives!
TEARS is looking for dedicated foster families to give vulnerable kittens a second chance. Fostering typically lasts 2 to 6 weeks, during which you’ll provide a rescued kitten with a safe and loving environment to grow and thrive. Hill’s Pet Nutrition feeds all our rescued pets, including our foster kittens, and TEARS covers all veterinary costs at the TEARS Vet Clinic.
Most foster kittens become available for adoption after spending two weeks in “quarantine” with you. Once ready, TEARS will manage home checks and arrange meetings with potential adopters to find the perfect match.
Fostering kittens is incredibly rewarding but requires time and attention. They need supervision, socialization, and care. We’re looking for fosters who can dedicate time to raising a kitten, bring them to scheduled vet appointments (typically 2-3 per month) or emergencies, and attend adoption events to help them find a forever home.
